Spill Tab
Live at The Grace, London
2021 was a breakout year for spill tab, culminating in the December release of her EP Bonnie. Setting the pace with her effusive, untethered lead single ‘PISTOLWHIP’, she released a string of forward-thinking tracks complete with a line up of well-cast collaborators. Chicago rapper Tommy Genesis unleashes on the glitchy ‘Indecisive’, JAWNY chants playfully across ‘Grade A’, and ‘Velcro’ unveils a duet moment between spill tab and Gus Dapperton. Her talents quickly caught the ears of Metronomy, who invited her to appear on their surprise Posse EP, featuring and co-producing on the track ‘Uneasy’. She spent a good portion of the year on the road too – joining both Gus Dapperton and JAWNY for their respective North American tours, and spending some time in France and the UK.
spill tab is the moniker of Claire – singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. spill tab launched her musical career, grabbing disparate feelings, sounds, tones, and textures to form her distinctive brand of bedroom-pop, with lyrics in both English and French. Exceeding 30 million streams and appearing on the cover for Spotify’s beloved Lorem playlist twice, spill tab has garnered support from the likes of Billboard, Paper, Pigeons & Planes, The FADER and was named in NME’s 100 essential artists for 2021. She also appeared in a session for VEVO’s DSCVR Artists To Watch In 2021.
