Sophie Griffiths is a singer-songwriter from Brentwood, Essex. She is an old soul locked in a digital age.
Growing up, Sophie started venturing into music by playing along on the piano with her mum. It was there, sat alongside her mum, where Sophie started to find her voice by singing the songs that would come to soundtrack her youth. Soon after she started writing songs herself, but it was purely unintentional. Urged by friends and family to try her hand at original material, Sophie has started to showcase talent beyond her years, driven by the ambition of a 19-year-old trying to plant her flag in the ground.
Taking cues from legends such as Duffy, Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones but delivering with a modern twist, Sophie showcases a sharp turn of phrase and gift for ear-worm melodies that can be compared to contemporaries including Emie Nathan and Maisie Peters.
