London, England’s She Must Burn deliver a lethal blast of deathcore, symphonic, gothic, and black metal that invokes names like Cradle of Filth, Bleeding Through, Make Them Suffer, and Lorna Shore. Founded in 2014, the band issued an eponymous EP in 2015 via Artery Recordings. With the release of their first EP, a unique sound of beauty and beast exploded, bringing fast attention and resulting in the band being handpicked by black metal giants ‘Cradle of Filth’ to accompany them during the UK leg of their Inquisitional Torture Tour.
In 2017, the band unleashed their full-length debut, Grimoire, again via Artery, which featured guest spots from Make Them Suffer’s Sean Harmanis and Carnifex’s Scott Lewis. This saw them embark on a 6 week tour of the USA (alongside Carnifex, Rings of Saturn and Lorna Shore) with the record entering at #6 in the US Billboard Hard Chart. Upon returning to the UK they delivered a highly anticipated performance at Download Festival. In 2018, founding members, James Threadwell and Frankie Keating united with the talents of Kyle Lamb, Jack Higgs, Valis Volkova and Steve Padley to begin work on their most explosive release to date ‘Umbra Mortis’.
In 2019 they released their first single ‘Of Blood & Bone’. Following the single release, in February 2020 She Must Burn played a SOLD OUT headline show at the Black Heart in London.
In 2022 She Must Burn started their album cycle for Umbra Mortis, leading with the video for their track ‘Incantation’. In October 2022, She Must Burn released their album ‘Umbra Mortis’ which accumulated 34k monthly listeners in the first 48 hours, landing the Official Spotify Deathcore playlist and many others. After their album Umbra Mortis released in October 2022, She Must Burn performed a headline show at the O2 Academy 2 in Islington, London.
Since 2017, She Must Burn have accumulated over 1 Million video plays and more than 2.5 million streams across their discography with over 1 million plays on their latest album alone.
