MAVICA is a Spanish alternative pop artist, splitting her time between London and Madrid. Her debut EP got over 5 million streams and received acclaim from The Line of Best Fit and The 405, as well as editorial support from Spotify in “Most Beautiful Songs In The World” and more. Soon after covid hit, leading to her taking a break from music for a while. She has been writing since last year again leading to this first album. MAVICA’s landed syncs with Netflix and RTVE (Spanish National TV) as well as advertising campaigns for SEAT and Benetton. On the live side, she has opened for Alice Phoebe Lou, Roo Panes, Blanco White and Low Island and independently put together a 13-date North/Central America tour last March around her SXSW 2022 performance. She regularly plays local festivals in Spain and she collaborated with Sofar Sounds and Ford Mustang for a special at home live performance last year. This year she’s confirmed for Primavera Sound, touring the US & EU/UK with Blanco White and we’re in conversations for Pitchfork London Festival.
