Whether it’s singing spine tingling opera chorus’, laying down bars or belting a pop verse, Claudillea fuses different genres together in a fresh way, paving the way for her new self-coined genre : OPPOP. With a jaw-dropping vocal range and an instinctive gift for innovation, Claudillea’s unique artistry and unwavering vision for the future of opera cements her place in the inspiring new class of rebellious young artists taking creativity into their own hands and carving out their own musical lanes in defiance of an industry that loves to box and label. Originally from Cambridgeshire, but raised in Borneo, Malaysia, Claudillea’s multicultural upbringing gave her a global perspective and a sense of limitlessness. Keen to be different to her peers who strictly sang pop, Claudillea began to focus more on classical and operatic vocal techniques. Claudillea rose to global recognition in 2020 after earning a place on The Voice UK, first on Team Meghan, before being “stolen” by Will.I.Am.
